NiagaraRegion -

The Average Sale price of a single family home rose to $225,445 from the $206,077 reported for the same period in 2009. This 9.3% rise in sale price can be partially attributed to the increase in sales activity for properties in the $240,000 - $400,000 price range ( 881 versus 597 housing units). Our market remains strong however sales activity will moderate as the supply of homes increases. Prices of homes are expected to remain at current levels & Niagara is still one of the most affordable regions to live in.
